MADE FROM WASTE
Our Recycled Range is made from 50% pre-consumer garment cutting waste cotton, such as t-shirts offcuts, which is colour sorted and spun with 33% polyester from recycled plastic bottles to create an innovative, high quality yarn. The remaining 17% comes when we plate our socks with ECONYL® regenerated nylon that is made from fishing nets and other nylon waste for added durability.
MADE IN THE UK
The cotton-polyester and ECONYL® regenerated nylon are sent to our UK factory where we use traditional sock production methods to knit a sock that is made to last.
We’re very proud of the history and skills of our British craftspeople who have supported us since day one in our vision to create a recycled sock.
CLOSING THE LOOP
Every pair of our socks is accompanied by a mending kit; which includes a needle and thread, as well as a 3-step darning instruction guide to encourage repairing or reinforcing rather than throwing away. We want to make sure that each pair lasts as long as they can.
